Dr. Samra Javed Head of ORIC & EMEC
Dr. Samra Javed ist currently working as Assistant Professor & Head of the Office of Research Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) and Advisor to the Office of President at Institute of Business Management (IoBM) Karachi. She has also worked as Lead Researcher with Transparency International on the assignment of Assessment of National accountability Bureau, Pakistan. PhD in Education (IoBM, 2015); MPhil in Social Sciences (2012, SZABIST) & Master’s in English Literature (Government College, 1994), Dr. Javed has recently completed Post-Doctoral Fellowship working on HEC’s Thematic Research Grant Project awarded to IoBM. Her work on projects with international donors (Citizen’s Voice Project, Gender Equity Program, EDLINKS-USAID, UNDP, The Asia Foundation, International Union for Conservation of Nature) involves not only management of projects but also training in Proposal Writing, Gender Sensitization and other areas. She has, to her credit, a list of award-winning proposals to national and international donors and few research publications in HEC’s recognised journals. At IoBM, she is helping faculty members in converting their research concept notes into ready-for-submission, donor funded RFPs (Request for Proposals).
