ORIC- IoBM Capacity Building Session on Intellectual Property and Licensing
The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), IoBM organized a Capacity Building Session for the officers, conducted by Dr. Owais, Principal Consultant of the Hassan Shaikh & Company.
The session focused on key aspects of Intellectual Property (IP) including licensing, patent filing, and trademarks, aiming to strengthen ORIC’s capacity to support innovation and protect institutional research outputs.
Dr. Owais shared valuable insights on the processes of IP registration, commercialization of research, and the legal frameworks surrounding innovation management in Pakistan.
This initiative reflects ORIC IoBM’s commitment to promoting a culture of innovation, research protection, and commercialization within the academic community.
