The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al-Sa’ee Group to establish a strategic partnership aimed at advancing research, innovation, commercialization, entrepreneurship, consultancy, and capacity-building initiatives.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Sarfaraz Sarwar Khan CEO of Al-Sa’ee Consultancy Group and Dr. Seema Ansari, Director ORIC, IoBM. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Zubair Ahmed Naseem, Assistant Professor, Department of Islamic Finance, IoBM, and Syed Faraz Ali, Manager ORIC, IoBM.
Through this collaboration, IoBM and Al-Sa’ee Group will work together on a wide range of initiatives, including joint research projects, consultancy assignments, knowledge-sharing programs, professional training and capacity-building activities, mentorship opportunities, and initiatives that promote innovation and entrepreneurship. The partnership will facilitate industry engagement in academic and applied research, support startup development and entrepreneurial ventures, and encourage the commercialization of research outcomes and innovative solutions.
Both organizations will also collaborate on seminars, workshops, conferences, industry-focused projects, and community engagement initiatives designed to address emerging challenges and opportunities. The partnership seeks to strengthen industry–academia linkages by leveraging the expertise of faculty, researchers, students, and industry professionals to develop practical, impactful, and sustainable solutions.
This MoU reflects the shared vision of IoBM and Al-Sa’ee Group to foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and continuous learning while promoting professional excellence and societal impact. By combining their respective strengths and expertise, both institutions aim to create meaningful opportunities for students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders, contributing to knowledge creation, economic development, and the growth of a vibrant innovation ecosystem.
