The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) was honored to be invited to a ceremony at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Head Office in Karachi, where, in collaboration with the Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC), prize money was awarded to winning startups.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished dignitaries including Mr. Saquib Fayyaz Magoon (Senior Vice President, FPCCI), Prof. Dr. Tariq Rafi (Chairman, SHEC), Mr. Moin Uddin Siddiqui (Secretary, SHEC), Mr. Bashir Jan Muhammad, Madam Kausar Sultana, Mr. Aman Paracha, Mr. Haider Ali, and Mr. Shahzaib, reflecting strong institutional support for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Director ORIC, IoBM, was cordially invited to attend the prize distribution ceremony of the FPCCI–SHEC Technology Showcase. The event recognized outstanding startups for their innovative contributions, including an IoBM-affiliated startup that received prize funding—marking a notable achievement for the university’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
ORIC–IoBM extends its appreciation to FPCCI, SHEC, and all participating startups for contributing to the success of the event. Such initiatives play a vital role in strengthening industry-academia linkages and fostering a culture of innovation and commercialization in Pakistan.
