The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST), organized an ORIC Experience Sharing Session at Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman Hall, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus. The session brought together representatives from various universities and industry, including ORIC directors, managers, innovation professionals, and members of ORIC steering committees.
ORIC IoBM comprising of Dr. Adnan Bashir and Syed Faraz Ali participated in the session, joining other institutional representatives in a collaborative forum focused on strengthening research management practices and innovation ecosystems in higher education.
Participants shared institutional experiences, best practices, key achievements, and future strategies related to research development, commercialization, and the enhancement of industry–academia linkages. The discussions highlighted the importance of inter-university collaboration, structured knowledge exchange, and coordinated efforts to improve research quality and promote innovation across academic institutions.
The session concluded with a mutual agreement to continue such collaborative engagements. further strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and knowledge sharing in the field of research and innovation.
